(Original thread started on 06-18-12 by David Gutierrez) There is a Lear45 Sim in the CAE training facilities here in Mexico. It's like 40 minutes from where I live: I'm curious about the back lighting... (Posted by Eric Tomlin on 06-19-12) Yes! That would be incredible. But, guess what? You'd not have any good out the window scenery compared to Flight Sim. At least not world-wide like we do now. And you would spend a fortune for each airport you did have installed that was beyond a very basic Runway/Taxiway layout. But, when you're paying millions of dollars for a Level D sim, you likely could afford a handful of custom airports too. The cost depends, usually between 400-600usd per hour. The simulators were in Atlanta. This couple was in a Leart45: Although not a Lear45, this is a must see video of a Boeing 777 Class "D" sim in the making. I would love to have one similar for one of our projects! https://youtu.be/Wqq4-XC5f8U (Original thread started on 06-18-12 by David Gutierrez) There is a Lear45 Sim in the CAE training facilities here in Mexico.
