Anyone have any ideas how to make my ILS markers come through with the aural alerts? Verified them non functional tonight on 2 PCS. Jet45 sees them and shows on the PFD, but no sound. Also- I had the MKR button pressed in the VC- nuttin....

Not sure. I've noticed inner / outer/ middle marker aural's with MKR pressed but those are the only ones. Might try assigning the MKR to an actual switch to ensure that switching MKR on in VC is functioning.

JET45 currently only models the “chime sound” for the CAS messages.

Yes, the only time I noticed the marker audible is when I was using Dave Ault's RMU's and the MKR button was highlighted. But I switched to the JET45 RMU's and never heard them again. Should be and easy fix though since it's already molded in FSX, just need to link the offsets.

Forgot to share this, Randy sent me a fix for this some time ago. I haven't tried it yet, but probably will give it a go this week. He seemed pretty sure it works fine.

 

"Assign a switch or button to offset 0x3122 bit 4 and that will turn on your marker tones. I was just running Dave's RMU's in the backround to make mine work before, then I looked at Dave's source code and found which offset it was. Put that into FSUIPC and works fine."

Hey guys, has anyone besides Randy Buchanan confirmed that this fix for the ILS Marker Aural sounds will work? Interesting little thread here!

 

Additionally, we need to get with Jason to see if it is possible to add these ILS marker aurals including TCAS aurals to the Jet45AAS. It would be a nice enhancement
