Shane,

Your stash of parts of worse than mine! I still need to rewire all panels and replace incorrect AML switches. I see you took down your fiberglass side panels. Are you still up for make copies of it... in next 10 or 15 years?

I need to sort out Molex connectors yet (size and source).

Jeepers Shane,

Seeing your beautiful 'gold standard ' sim in parts brought a tear to my eye. I know it has to be done and I am probably the furtherest down the track than anyone else so I appreciate where you are at. I will rechant my mantra over the last 10 years and say that the end game is still the thrill of flying the simulator appreciating all our hard work. For those way behind, it is well worth it, so keep the faith.

I can confirm that P3D V5.3 HF2 is working well, in my case, with the new Jet45 avionics.

Last night Coop and I did futher testing and flew from Anchorage to Valdez at dawn. Awesome visuals using ORBX \ Aerosoft. I am happy to say that the gap between P3D and MSFS in visual is narrowing a bit more. The forums still show plenty of people disallusioned with MSFS after their initial hype. P3D is still an excellent simulator and we are fortunate to have Jet45 still functioning and evolving to keep us all invested in the future.

Supporting Jason and Ron is the least I can do for us all looking towards a very bright and exciting future.

Cheers

Mark S.

Hi guys,

Yes it hurt a little to take it all apart when it was near completion but building and updating is part of the fun as well.  Glad to hear the latest version of P3D is doing well.  I believe my last flight before disassembly utilized P3DV4 so I hope LM has made even more improvements by the time I am ready to get the latest version.
