I raised a support ticket at Siminnovations about this and received a mail from Corjan. So.. to be continued.... Today i visited Siminnovations "headquarters" Corjan and Ralph were both there (the only two employees) and they are great guys. We tried a lot of things with different settings and different hardware, like a Raspberry Pico. There were some weird things seen what possibly was caused by the AirManager code. So Corjan altered the code to avoid this zeroing. My ADI now correctly corresponds to the sim's output, even after a loop or a roll. What a nice support! Hey Roel, Wow this is great news and incredible support, first hand! I am glad they were able to solve this problem for you. And if you have any further issues, now you have a personal rapport with them. Sounds like you guys had a great time! Hey Roel, Wow this is great news and incredible support, first hand! He came up with some remarks and offered that I pay a visit to their headquarters.
Nice offer!... you have to see this in real life I agree.
So I will take this offer, also because I am curious about their headquarters that is not that far away.

A small office at an industrial area.
After determining what the issue was ; the stepper motor gets confused after some quick movements, we started troubleshooting.
So after a nice lunch in a nearby restaurant we hooked up an oscilloscope to measure pulses sent to the stepper.
It seemed the AM after some input set the stepper to zero, what could be the issue according to Corjan
That sounded logical to me, but frankly I had no idea...
And... problem solved!!!
I have a developers build now on my Arduino but this fix will be in the next update.
We have been busy from 10:0o am until 3:00 pm!!
