MSFS 2020 is Here!

For those of you who are looking to upgrade their version of Flight Sim, the all new FS 2020 is here, and will be out on August 18th 202o.  They're taking pre-orders currently, so grab your copy.  The graphics is awesome, as well as the weather generator.  They put a lot of work, time and effort into the development of this simulator.  Check it out...

Yes i have seen the anouncement.
Unfortunatly no Lear 45 present in any of the editions. 🙁
I guess we have to switch to the Citation 🙂

It certainly has been a long time in the making!  I have been following along with the news and updates.  They fixed a lot of known issues but now that they are getting ready to release it to the general public, I am sure a lot more issues will be discovered.....and fixed!

As for the Lea45 not being one of the first aircraft to make the cut, that is okay.  I do believe we will be able to port in our FSX/P3D Lear45 configuration file.  Another option is to modify one of the other aircraft's configuration files to mimic the Lear45, although the outside views of the aircraft will not look like a Lear45.

I say give it some time and either we will find a suitable solution to this issue or they will develop a Lear45 model.  Someone will, even if it has to be one of us!

I am very excited to see that it is finally here!

Yes, I know X Plane 11 doesn't have a Lear45 either, however they have a 36, so maybe we can develop a lear 45 for FS 2020.  Now theier are different editions of FS you can purchase, and from what I understand, the full edition has more planes to choose from.  I'm not sure if LEar 45 is one of them or not.

I hope you can , like in fsx/prepar3d , edit the flight caracteristics in fs2020.
I can not find anything on the internet, we’ll see in august...

The aircraft list that I have seen does not include the Learjet.  As Ron said, we are praying that we can import the Lear45 from P3D/FSX.  It would not be smart for MS to preclude backward compatibility.  Also concerned about the availability and delay in getting update FSUIPC/WIDEFS builds for MSFS2020.  So far, there is nothing posted on the FSUIPC site.  Worst case I suppose is an update to Jet45 to use a different data interface.
