Hi, I'm currently modifying my existing cockpit into a more LJ45 based sim. I was wondering, after extensive research online produced nothing, where the sockets for the mic/headphones are located in the plane and what they look like. Thanks Hi, I'm currently modifying my existing cockpit into a more LJ45 based sim. I was wondering, after extensive research online produced nothing, where the sockets for the mic/headphones are located in the plane and what they look like. Thanks Hi Axlsys, Glad you found us and this is a really good question! This first photo shows where the hand held mics are stored and where they plug into, which is on the control columns. These next two photos show where the headset mic and headphones plug in which is on the side wall over the pilot's outboard shoulders. I took these photos myself because as you pointed out, there is very little information out there in the public on this subject. Also back in the corner you will find the Oxygen Mask, a flashlight and I believe a first aid kit down in what we call the side "bookshelves". Under the seats you will find the fire extinguishers. I hope this helps and if you have any other questions please ask. We are happy to help! Hi Axlsys, Glad you found us and this is a really good question! Thank you so much, its been driving me nuts trying to find it. From the pix, your sim looks awesome. Thanks, but that's not my sim, those are real Lear45 aircraft. A couple years ago I had an opportunity to visit a Lear45 XR, push some buttons, take videos and photos. It was very helpful! You can find a link to my personal project HERE It's always a work in progress but at least it's moving in the right direction. Again, if you are looking to build a Lear45 and need anything, just ask. We are here to help. If we don't have the answers we know the guys that do!
