Airframe L45-006 is up For Sale!

(Original thread started on 06-24-13 by Tom Goldberg)

For those of you that do not know me, I'm the owner of Learjet #006. I started the project way back when Ron and Eric first started this site but decided after a couple of years that we wanted to build a 737 sim and that is what we did. I don't have room for both so the Lear is up for sale. I will not part it out, you will have to come and get it if you are interested but for the money, it would be well worth it. We will take $5,000 for everything we have. I will explain what you get.

Completed airframe #L45-006 covered and painted.

Complete control column assembled and functional.

Complete set of my rudder pedals with pots and wiring.

Real Lear45 throttle assembly with pots and wiring.

Full MIP, glareshield and throttle cover doors.

All wood furniture is built, floors and carpeting.

Lexan windshields already cut to fit.

Vinces RMU's X2

Boxes full of the AML switches, LEDs etc...

All of the computer monitor screens for the MIP brand new in the box.

Here are a few pics of the project. There should also be some more pics of the build in the "Project & Media part of the forum, look for Learjet45 L45-006 project:

Hey Tom, Shell L45-006 looks incredible! I don't think I have ever seen it completed.  (The outer skin part I am talking about)

For those of you who are thinking about this purchase, I can tell you that this is an incredible opportunity that Tom is putting out there for you. Just the shell completed in this state is worth every bit of $5,000. As a matter of fact, I have always said that if someone were to ask me to complete the shell kit in fiberglass like I have done, it would be close to $10,000 because of the countless hours put into it. Ask Shane, owner of L45-007, he will confirm this!

The other thing about Tom's package deal that you will have a hard time finding these days is the Throttle Quadrant parts. THOSE ARE REAL LEAR45 PARTS AND YOU CAN'T FIND THEM ANY LONGER!

So if your wondering whether or not it is a good deal, I am here to say it is great deal!  If your anywhere near the north west corner of the USA, consider this package.

Hey Ron & Eric thanks for the kudos, yes I think it's a pretty good deal, should put a new builder way ahead of the game. I guess I should also tell everybody we are located near Spokane, Washington, northwest USA. Also, I am pretty sure we have a lot more boxes of little goodies that will go along with the project. I will look around this week for other parts and pieces and list them here when I find them.

Thanks again, Tom

That is a good package deal. A lot of hard work already completed with the shell covered. Sure would give a builder a head start on the project.

Tom, I'm spewing. Had this come up two years ago, I would have sent a Lear to pick it up and fly it to Australia. Having started from the plans I can tell anyone that this is a great deal as everyone before me has stated. Anyone who has the money BUY IT!

There has been a groundswell of people around the world building 737's, Tom included. I want to tell you the facts which convinced me to go with the Lear45. One being is that the Lear can land where a 737 can't and that includes a number of the ORBX runways. Think about that !

What you get with the airframe ie the rudder pedals etc are well worth it. Bugger, I want it all. (Sorry, an Aussie thinking out aloud)
